Have you been programming the Propeller in the Spin language exclusively?· Now is your chance to explore a new set of possibilities that the Propeller Assembly Language delivers.· Expert Propeller developers often use a combination of Assembly and Spin to create very powerful objects.· Now you can too!

Some of the topics we’ll cover include:
  • Why use Propeller Assembly?
  • Propeller Assembly “building blocks”
  • Conditional execution
  • Timing
  • Addressing
  • Memory usage
  • Communication between cogs (Assembly/Spin)
  • More advanced topics as time permits

This will be hosted as a live presentation using a mixture of prepared and impromptu materials.· Attendees will be encouraged to ask questions (either verbally or via chat window) throughout the meeting, however the last 15 minutes will be a designated Q & A session.

Who Should Attend?
  • Existing Propeller users of a beginner or intermediate skill level; familiar with Spin and curious about Propeller Assembly.
  • Non-Propeller users with a good working knowledge of other assembly languages.
  • Those who tried Propeller Assembly in the past and need further instruction.

About the Host: Jeff Martin is a long-time Parallax employee who has been heavily involved with many Parallax products, including the Propeller chip since it was first envisioned.· He has a background in Computer Science and a love for programming.· He writes software and technical documentation for Parallax and enjoys teaching anyone who is willing to learn more.
