I'll be numb from sleep deprivation, with my coffee. (Do geeks really rise at 7am EST?)

But I'm looking forward to this! Jeff always does a great job with the webinars.

    OBC,

Wouldn't you be at 1:00 p.m.? Even a sleep deprived geek should be able to make that or are your traveling?

Egad! I was doing my time zone math backwards this morning!

(This is what happens when you post while drinking first cup of coffee!)

    This is interesting!

After several weeks of not getting help from the forum on my binary file compileing (I have recently gotten help) I dared to E-mail Chip himself (gasp!) and ask him what the binary file is composed of and who I should ask who would know best. I mentioned that I had no knowledge of PASM, and he was astonished that I have ever built anything without it. I replied (in a polite manner, of course) that it is most likely because I have a very narrow scope of knowledge: just Parallax. Parallax dosn't have any educational material on PASM. Here, not 5 days later, this webinar is annouced. Coincidence?

Hopefully I will be able to attend.

I'm in the same boat, oopps pun? Working also.

I'm sure it will be archived for later viewing, like previous webinars. Usually takes a week or two.

But no chance to ask questions. cry.gif

That's a little unfair. I would consider the Propeller manual to be quite educational regarding PASM.

Agreed, particularly the newer edition. I find it extremely useful.

The newer one comes with the latest Prop Tool download. I think it's also just downloadable. The PDF was completely annotated with lots of new info, and reference tags, with the errata folded in.

I'll have to check it out....didn't know they had done that much to it. I do have the new tool (I think).

This is something you requested from us on the forums, and that's why it has been scheduled.

Wow! Parallax really listens to forum requests! They are most likely the only company that uses a forum as there window to customers!! Thanks Parallax!!

I think your scope of experience is perhaps a little narrow. A *lot* of companies use forums to solicit feedback and interaction from their users. Parallax does appear to have a very fast and friendly personal interaction with their customers however.

My experience with the forums has been if you have a bit of a go, post some code and ask for help by forming some defined questions you will always get help very quickly.

    @microcontrolled

I think people that have programmed in any other asm have an advantage
when learning pasm. Since you have not it is a harder slog for you but I'm certain
you will master it as you seem well above average smile.gif

I may soon have a lot of free time and would like to create some sort of
software to help people use pasm. There is a real need for more help
    geared for beginners.
