Has anyone done a PC MS serial mouse object?

Before I start hammering a square stone into a wheel..
Has anyone has any reason to do an object for the Propeller which outputs serial mouse data?
I'm looking at the protocols and it doesn't look out of my reach...

While not for the Propeller, looking at this Mouse emulator that I wrote for the Basic Stamp II might help with the decoding that you need.
Here is an archive of my web-page from 1999 ... Check out the "MicroSoft MOUSE emulator" about half way down on the list.

I'll still running this down, but it looks like a potential input for both mouse/keyboard.
I might even get some experience in handicap systems while I'm working on this project.
(Something that's been on my bucket list for a while)

Although I want to go the normal way (prop to keyboard or mouse) I am wanting to do conversion with a 6pin SOT PIC10F or 8pin MC9RS08 so that it will do the work and just send serial via a single pin to the prop. Both ICs are about 50c. Pin saving is my requirement. Of course, there is no reason why this could not be programmed to go in the other direction.
