Relay Suggestions

I am current working on a relay circuit for my basic stamp which will drive a 24V DC motor (I measured 1A-2A) forward or reverse.

My circuit is for a 24V application and I am using two 12V lawnmower batteries.

Is this the best/ simplest approach? Should I add any fuses?
·
Please see attached pdf file with the schematic and componet specs.

I am new to the basic stamp and any comments or suggestions are appreciated.
