That's what I thought when men were walking on the moon around 1970.
Because if we can make it to the moon, we should be able to fix everything that breaks.
In the 1970's there was fundraising to cure diseases that they still fundraise to cure today,
even though they already got rid of many things like Small pox, measles, mumps, polio, leprosy, ...
The people who want to live forever might be the ones that do the successful research,
not the ones that collect money to throw at the idea.
