No. It's not designed for that.

The MotorMindB (p#27961) can be used to drive an array of MOSFETs that can take the current.

Take a look at the IRF4905 and the IRFZ44 MOSFETs. dev/null turned me on to these MOSFETs .(dev/null is a parallax member)

    ___Hope this helps______________$WMc%________

Will your motors draw 35 to 40 amps in real-world situations?

I have a robot with motors that CAN draw 85 amps each. Both of them are run by seperate HB-25s. In use, I doubt they ever draw as much as 15 amps, even when running in tall grass, tearing the heck out of my lawn as the grass gets caught up in the tracks and is ripped from the ground.

Think about what your motors will actually draw. If you cannot devise a test and really need the capabilities of the HB-25, try one and see if it works. If the magic smoke blows . . . you were wrong. :)
