Repost with subject! Use of SD-card to update Prop. program

Hi,
I am working on a design for a Propeller datalogger application, with the aim that the user should be able to load updated versions of the main program simply by swapping out the micro-SD card.
The Obex shows a variety of possibilities for implementing such a function; some using disk OS's.
Assuming that this idea is sensible, I would welcome the collective advice of the Forum on the easiest/fastest route that they they would recommend!
Thank you,
Tony Waite

When I have time to look at it properly I will have a resident bootloader in EEPROM that will load the firmware file directly. That way then there is no way I can lose the bootloader especially if i have a jumper on the write-protect of the EEPROM.

Searching the PropDOS threads has now given me more of the background. So thank you Cluso99. (I too

And I like Peter's 'quick comparison' method of managing the image on the SD-card too.
The Propeller is wonderfully addictive ...
