mikediv: No, we are not raising the voltage although coley tried that in combination to see how far he could get. The only issue with using an uneven xtal frequency is if you want to use it for specific external timing. Internal timing uses the 2 settings so it does not matter for normal use. So, even frequencies is just for convenience. I am intending to try 15MHz and PLLx8 = 120MHz (at 3V3). I believe this will largely depend on PCB layout and power regulation which has a direct bearing on decoupling at the power pins of the prop.
