Nes lightgun

Hi, I just found an old lightgun for the nes and wanted to interface it with the Hydra. I wanted to know if it is possible to get the x,y coordinate on the screen where there is a hit, or we only can detect white spot with it. Thanks!

    Ummm... I have tried this many times... No--it is not possible with the HYDRA's setup, because the lightgun uses the other two pins on the NES socket:

    That page also describes how the lightgun works.
    I did find code for the lightgun, but it is a modified zapper using the light to freq converter. If you want, I will post it.

    I knew for the 2 pins, I'll have to connect wires to the connector and feed it via the experimenter card (finally found an utility to it!)
