    Hi mikediv

I have mentioned to some guys to write Propeller emulator for Proteus.
But one of them said ... If You pay .. I can write.

Else You can't find any Propeller Library file for Propeller ... Not sure on SX ... maybe on other forums

Are you just trying to get the footprint for a pcb layout or are you trying to do simulation?

If just the footprint, then there should be a method to create the footprint. In Protel (which I use) you can make a footprint for a PLCC which specifies the number of pins, the distance between the centres of the pads, both horizontally and vertically, and the width and length of the pads.

The specification from Parallax for the pcb layout for the Prop has quite largish (long) pads which make it relatively easy to hand solder.

Attached are the calculations for pad sizes. The prop recommended pad sizes give 0.5mm of pad outside the leg. For hand soldering, this dimension depends on how well you·can solder (using a fine tip and temperature controlled assumed). Solder wick is your friend to remove the excess solder and any bridges between pins. You really need to use solder paste. It can be done with fine solder, but not a good outcome - probably OK for 1 pcb)

    Hi Cluso99

It is not problem to make footprints else SCH libry parts in Proteus.
Most footprints exist already with ohter parts.
It is Simulation models that are problem

One of programs that are posible to convert to simulations model for Proteus is "Gear" run kernel for Propeller's CPU
With some mods to handle In/Out signals that Proteus ned for comunication betwen Simulations model and Proteus GUI

    Regards
    ChJ
