I am looking into using Bluetooth technology to implement reliable short-range remote control network. It appears that they use different “profiles’ to communicate between two devices – point to point.
The spec range of 100 meters is OK, but not perfect.
Is there a way to add a custom profile?
I would like to provide redundancy using sort of multipath transmission by tandeming thru another Bluetooth device.
Also I have not found specification for maximum of independent point to pint devices running within the specified range.
Thanks for reading.
