Moving on / up
Hi,
Nearing the end of the BOT book, and will be sending off for Smart Sensors soon ( more challenging / interesting ), and a Soundpal ( for the "fun" element )
Spent quite a lot of time trawling the forums...... GREATLY inpressed by the many enlarged/ extended "super" BOTS you guys have produced.· Answered my questions of how much can be added to the basic chassis kit; plus seeing the "Supercomputers" answered my question about being able to run more than one Stamp at the same time ( it can be done ).
Also considering buying a second BoEBOT kit...................
1. enables me to make two robots for "leader / follower", and "chaser / advoider" type situations.
2. develop one robot, while using second BoE for none robot work ( e.g. A-D, Process Control, circuit testing etc. )
3. bolt two chassis together to create the basis of a larger mobile platform
4. be able to build large multi-sensor, dual processor robot ( if I ever get that far ! )
Have also been looking at possibility of a motorised tracked chassis.· Something like a RP5 + TReX Jr. dual controller; or converting a··RC tank if I can find something suitable.·
That takes care of the next few years anyway, and by the end·I should be ready for the new "Stingray" ??
