·I am not done with the SX yet and I plan to be the last guy that buys one if it came to that. I am not going to the prop unless Bean makes a PropBasic program. So I am here to the end. The SX chip for 3 dollars is better for me then the stamp or Prop. So I am going to see if I can still put some interest·in the SX·chip because we still have a few years left. My question is I need to be able to switch automatically from city driving to highway driving with the Hydrogen boost system I am installing in my·car. I have a great PWM code that Bean made me. (Thanks Bean) but I was wondering if I could use the COUNT·to read my speed sensor signal for a given time to determine if the car has been cruising for a few seconds at Hwy Speeds. I need to turn on a relay to switch my pot settings that alters the MAP signal to the PCM. I am using 2 50k pots to modify the signal that the PCM in my car uses to determine engine load and control the air/fuel ratio. One pot is set for City driving and the other for Hwy driving. I don’t want to keep flipping the switch every time I go form city to Hwy driving.
I am going to use the SX Chip to power my Hydro cell with a variable Freq and PWM. I just want to make the unit automatic so my wife and everyone else I put the unit on won’t have to make any adjustments. ·

Just with the MAP modifier and running my engine a little lean (for now) I was able to go 41 MPG with AC of in my Saturn. I am going to add the Hydro cell to bring the cylinder temp down and to add the fuel that I am cutting back on with the MAP mod. After I get it all running I will post the result. I a also going to add an O2 sensor modifier as the last stage of my project. (I am going to use the SX chip) to mod the signal if I can. )
Thanks guys for all your help in the past. The SX chip, this site, and forum members have made a lot of my ideas a reality. It’s been so much fun I am not letting go until the very end. Until then I am going to go full speed ahead and have as much fun as I can or time permits.

I use both devices every day and am happy to do it. It is nice to have the horsepower of the Propeller. For my N&V column I'm doing a DMX project that is child's play with the Propeller; with the SX it is doable (I've done it) but with limits (e.g., not enough RAM to buffer the entire stream) and a lot more programming effort dealing with 250K baud serial data.
I agree that the SX is not going to go away any time soon but, especially with Parallax's push, the Propeller is going to get more attention. Give it a try -- it's fun.
