Frnds, what type/types of devices usually used in higher temperature environment and how to

measure the temp ,in addition how much is the device compatible to basic stamp pdb?

    Take a look at the #28022 from Parallax. This is a T/C reader and it works very well.
    A type "K" T/C will read to 1832F or ~1000C

    I have 3 of these in use now and they work great. I have also check their accuracy, And their very accurate.

    There are all kinds of industrial processes that operate at very high temps.....boilers, forges, kilns, petrochemical systems.

    Thermocouples are the workhorse of temperature measurement and, depending on the two metals used, can survive some amazing environments.

    Have a look at Omega Engineering's Temperature measurement catalog.

    Thermocouples can work up to 1300C.
