Physical layout - any of the Arduino variations.

Propeller Tools
Something like that?
I've put one prop in an altoids tin, good luck with 8.

Hi James,
There are currently three boards that stack on top of Morpheus:
Mem+ ...... adds 2MB of RAM, 16 bits parallel I/O, an RS232 programming/serial port, and an SD socket.
Propteus .... can be used as an add-on I/O processor with large prototyping area, servo headers and more (it can also work as a stand-alone development board) (Has access to Morpheus's EXP1, EXP2 and MORPHBUS (parallel bus with 24 bit addressing, 8 data bits))
Proteus .... a nice prototyping board for adding "stuff" to a Morpheus system (Has access to Morpheus's EXP1, EXP2 and MORPHBUS (parallel bus with 24 bit addressing, 8 data bits))
There will be more products coming for Morpheus before Xmas :)
..... and even more next year.
See links in my .sig for more information, the downloads page has manuals on it.

Las - Large model assembler for the Propeller Largos - a feature full nano operating system for the Propeller
Perhaps you can do it using this method?
(8 props using a single eeprom and crystal)

They cost me US$20 each ($12.99+freight) But at least I have them

Since there doesn't appear to be such a beast yet, these may make great places to prototype one:
DIY Arduino Shield Kit
Arduino ProtoShield
or... stack a few Propellurinos, along with some sort of dummy board to provide power at the bottom! :)
To get something with an identical board size and more than one Prop you'd be doing the kind of SMT work that a lot of hobbyists shy away from...
It was the 32K ram and vid that dragged me away, at least I might have become more "C" ish had I stayed.
