prop tool wont respond

I am having trouble getting my propellor tool working. If i start the program it opens up but does nothing. if i try clicking somewhere it just says "Not Responding" i have uninstalled it and reinstalled it but it just wont work. Anyone ever have this happen and know how to fix it.

No. Do you have the latest v1.2.6 ? What version Windoze?

it is the latest, and im running windows vista, i had loaded boa constructor so i could learn python, could that have done it.
