I've put my Boe down for a while now but recently struck interested (or rather have accumulated some more time) however I have a servo from my Elite copter that only goes 180 not 360 and i can get it to do 180 but not come back? can someone tip me off on this?

You are talking about the BOE-Bot since you posted in the robotics forum. I'm not sure if you are aware of the different types of servos. The BOE-Bot uses continuos rotations servos for the wheels:

Standard hobby servos are only 180, and·some less than that.

I·have a few helis and none will do over 180.
