The Propeller board really looks amazing. IMO there is a little too much stuff on one board, and I prolly wouldn't use most of it.

That is really an amazing deal though. I won a raffle at UPENE and even the breadboard itself is the best one I've ever used.
I was trying to think if I ordered a PCB, layed·out just like that one..ordered all the parts· etc, I'm pretty sure not even counting the time it would take to put together it would cost WAY more than $100!

Oddly, typical feedback is the customer wants more…like RJ-45 w/possibly RS-485 chip, uOLED, etc.· I never heard anyone say there was too much on a development board.

Yeah my opinions are allot different from others. I don't like to over complicate my projects, but instead make them as simple as possible.

That's the nice thing about the PPDB. Nothing is attached to the breadboad. You only attach what you need so you can keep it short and simple.
IMHO, when you consider everything that's included in the PPDB it's a bargain for what you get.

The PPDB is good for prototyping. If I had the money, I would get one. but I'm just saying there would probably be a lot of unused features. That may not be the same for most people, who like to do anything they possibly can with the propeller.

guess it does depend, like you say. And yet it's nice when you have a new idea and realize that the thing you need is already there. Never thought I'd need all those LEDs and buttons at the same time as the servo header - until I needed exactly that :))
More, IMO, is always better... but I suppose too much of a good thing (like Pizza and Beer) isn't. LOL

ON EDIT: CC whip-out accomplished.· I think it might be fun to do a census of how many propellers each of us have in our personal collections.· I have 4 demoboards, 3 protoboards in various states of populatitude, a spin studio, and just ordered a PPDB.· I also have 2 PropRPMs reserved for customers as backups, one virgin protoboard, and a Morpheus I haven't got around to populating with chips and testing.
