I've got a nifty MP3 player with a USB cable. I can drag and drop still photos and videos to it from my PC. Is there a way to transmit video to it from my Propeller through the prop plug? I working on an application now where it would be "killer" to display my propeller status screens using the slide show feature of the Sony product.

If you are thinking of using the usb port on the mp3 player to do it then you are most likely out of luck. It would entail getting the propeller to be a usb host and having it operate at speeds fast enough for sending video, music, and pics which is much faster than the propeller is capable of.

It might be possible for you to open up the mp3 player, find datasheets for the chips, and create a solution from there, but that would be very difficult.

The best thing would be something other than the propeller that has native usb support.
