"Embedded Robotics"· Mobile Robot Design and Applications with Embedded Systems···· ·by Thomas Braunl. Very nice textbook covers a wide variety of topics: chassis design, navigation, sensors, cameras & vision, mapping, PID control, behaviors, etc. Chapters on autonomous planes & submarines.·Not specific to any robot platform, so it is not a connect-the-dots assembly book, but it contains lots of theory, math, algorithms, etc helpful to general robot development.·It does contain·specific info on the EyeCon controller & EyeBot-style robots. More info & reviews at http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/3540705333/·This book normally sells for $60-$80, but I got a like-new copy off Ebay for $9. A·super addition to any robotics library.

Yes your correct this is a great book. I have it as an e-book along with over a thousand different other books as well that I have not had a chance to read yet but this one I have. So I agree with you. If you can get a copy of the book it's well worth the money.
