Driving a Controllerless LCD

Hei,

Some time ago I started using the propeller to drive a controllerless mono LCD. While it was not the great challenge ever It took its time. I added a page to the propellerwiki at propeller.wikispaces.com/MonoLCD640 to describe the process and how it works. I thought that some more people could benefit from it. As it is an extension to pPropQL020, I am not focusing on how the data arrives in the prop's memory, you could use a serial port, I'll use a parallel one, memory mapped into the 020's memory. it will provide text and graphics (mono) capabilities.

Have fun.

ps: btw, I have some other 320x240 and 640x240 displays that I may add to the page as time allows. If anyone has suggestions I'm listening. Color panels are also a nice addition.

Ale
Edit2: I forgot my camera at home so I'll post photos of the lcd/board combo maybe tomorrow. Photos are up and running. A bit unsharp. The used display has loads of glare ( mad.gif ) but well, something is something.
