DS32kHz is a temperature-compensated crystal oscillator with an output frequency of 32.768kHz.
The Data Sheet show a few different way to hook this chip which one would be the best way to· use this chip

Figure 6 shows one circuit that can be used to reduce the current consumption of a DS32kHz and an RTC.
This is the·one I used and it works very well
