Playing a wav file without SD?

Is it possible to play a small wav file without using an SD card?· SD is nice and all, but it takes up time, longs, and pins.· I think the "yet another HSS player" does that with *.hmus files...· I know it may be hard to find a small enough *.wav file, but I have a 5k-ish one in mind for a test...
