Voltage divider for 10-180 ohms.

I have a pressure sensor that reads 10-180 ohms at 0-150 psi. I want to use a stamp to do and analog to digital conversion. I think assume that the sensor is linear ohms to pressure. So, I need to run the sensor in series with another resistor with a 5 volt source across them and then check the voltage drop across the sensor with the stamp, do a little calculation and thats all there is to it. The problem is that the resistor seems to need to be such a small value, like 100 ohms. So, with no pressure the load would be only 110 ohms and this is not enough resistance for the 5 volt supply? Wont this burn up the resistors or the voltage regulator? How to I get accuracy from this?
Thanks
