Hi, except error of my part, information about direction of photodiode on breadboard (position of red dot) lacks. If photodiode is inverted piezo speaker does not stop to "howl". What does think a beginner like me even I learned "What's a Microcontroller?" in which there is no photodiode...but I'm clever! H

    You did get it to work? It is good to figure it out for yourself and to see what happens when it is reversed!

    I see what you mean, the position of the red dot on the photodiode is missing. Here is an earlier version of the diagram.

    You can always figure out with a voltmeter, or with a diode test meter.
