Don't want to start any kind of chip war, but I know there are plenty of folks here that also use avr's...

Just found this today, so I haven't read all the docs.· It probably doesn't hold up to the Propeller or Hydra, but it's still pretty cool.

    My bad, perhaps should have been in the sandbox.

    Nonetheless, I'm sure a lot of folks here also use avr's.· And many people likely are interested in the Prop because of it's video capabilties.· But there's no need to be a chip fanatic of any one company or product, if there's something out there we can use as a hobbiest, why not use it?

    Company loyalty notwithstanding, I think coding elements in clever applications are worth learning from any platform.· I've never really been a pic guy, but I have certainly inspected pic projects and applied that knowledge elsewhere.· Just because this project uses an avr doesn't mean there isn't anything to learn from it.
