It's easy to work out between the schematic and one of the many photos available online.

Compared to my Rev G board, everything is in the same place. If you can read a schematic, it's very easy to see the correspondence between schematic and the components in this photo.

Unfortunately, there's no LMGTFY for images...

Thanks, the high resolution image of the Propeller Demo Board is helpful. Is there any manual for this board? For example, for a person new to the Propeller, who just opened a box with the Prop Demo Board inside, what are some good demo programs to run? Where is the bulk of documentation for this board? In posts?

I think the bulk of the introductory documentation comes with the Propeller Tool. This includes the Propeller Manual and the library of demo programs and "standard" objects. The Object Exchange includes some of the objects that are packaged with the Propeller Tool and many others. The Propeller Manual is available in paper format as well. There's a "Propeller: Getting Started" sticky thread that references a lot of useful information. There's also a thread for the Propeller Education Kit tutorials, most of which are very useful and usable without the Propeller Education Kit itself. There are some non-Parallax websites that are quite good including a Propeller Wiki that I think has a link in one of the sticky threads.

Thanks much! This is what I was looking for.

When sources talk about a replaceable crystal on the demo board, was there an early board version with a socket? Rev G has the crystal soldered in.

Replaceable means it's soldered in, but you can replace it yourself easily....takes a small tip low-watt iron
and about a minute

The 6.250 xtal is a good choice for a replacement.

Probably you will find that the xtal is in fact in a socket (just individual machine pins). Carefully try and ease out the xtal from it's socket.

Cluso99, you are right! To my surprise, there is a pin socket on the board - a very low profile one. Thanks for the good advice.
