Has anyone used the H48C Tri-Axis Accelerometer to balance a device using a·2 modified servos?

I am finding that the acceleromter is entirely to sensitive to small servo pops, and all I can get out of my servos is a back and forth occilation. Any ideas on a way to change the sensitivity·coming out of this accelerometer, would be apreciated ( hardware or software).

    Thanks for the tip Mike.
·· I realize that the oscillation from the overshooting is going to be a fun task to compensate for. I am finding that the servos that I am using are not as sensitive as I had hoped. I may need to find another gearbox and wheel assembly (x2) and a driver for it.
·· Any ideas where to find one?
    Thanks so much,·

How big and heavy? I have used the mini-metal motors from pololu.com a lot for small bots, pololu also have drivers as well though I have used the L293D chip with those motors.

The H48C Tri-Axis Accelerometer seems to have a static tilt component and a dynamic acceleration component. Is there a way to separate the 2 or is there a way to use the dynamic acceleration to my advantage?
