Need Help with reading analog voltages

Hi all:

I was wondering how one would go about reading the analog voltage output the is given off by the Parallax transmitter using the receiver? I would like to use this feature to determine how far it would be from a specific marker or transmitter. Thanks for any advice!!!

Look at Tracy Allen's website (www.emesystems.com - link "app-notes" at bottom of page). There's a discussion on using RCTIME for measuring battery voltage. The same idea could be used for measuring other voltages.

    Andy,

There is also the option of using an ADC to get an accurate reading, and you could use a scale make it fit into your application. There are many examples of using the ADC0831 with some sample code to get you started. Otherwise, Mike's suggestion would keep down cost, and you could still get effective results; depending on the application need.

    I hope this helps,
