anyone else @ the village see the demo that 19 year old was doing? I cant find his email address he gave out. He managed to use the prop as a mass storage device with no driver installation the autorun loaded a small program that downloaded an opera variant it then turned itself into a HID device, ran a batch file, and sent a bunch of data from your pc to him. it was a GREAT demo and I let him do it on my experimental partition, its a clean windows XP sp3 install with no other drivers loaded. I am not sure if he also had a pic on the board, he said he was going to post it online after the Con. So, is he out there?

We sent several large boxes of hardware to Ryan Clark to sell at DEFCON, including 250 Schmartboard P8X32A-Q44 DEFCON kits. Apparently he sold everything the first day. Chances are high that we'll be seeing a new group of Propeller users here on the forums pretty soon.

    Ken,
Was there a footprint redesign on the DEFCON kits? I had problems at the expo with the schmart boards not making good contact to the uC, didnt have that problem with the DEFCON kit, or was it just the magic in the air @ defcon?

    Hey Jimmy,

The DEFCON board is identical in terms of design, yet the board is black instead of green.

Must have been the magic in the air, or else you gained experience on your first board.
