fpga module for easy blutooth

hi

I m trying to write a verilog module for Easy Bluetooth module to use it without STAMP.

To make a test I connected the Rx, Tx, Vdd and Vss pins of Easy Bluetooth to an FPGA card and I checked whether the PC(with a bluetooth dongle) could recognize it. The dongle didn't recognized the Easy Blutooth Module

What can I do?
Shoul I transmit some proper signals from Tx?

thanks

Have you read the documentation for the Easy Bluetooth module? The RBT-001 Manual in particular describes in detail how the module reacts when a Bluetooth connection is established and describes the commands that can be used to configure the module.

    First read the documentation!

    hi

actually I was looking for a shorter document. RBT-001 manual includes lots of details which make it crowded. I am trying to read it but a more specific documentation will make my job easier.

    thanks

You are trying to use the Easy Bluetooth module in a way that's different from what Parallax supports. They support its use with their microcontrollers, particularly the Stamps. The sample code they provide is specifically for the Stamps. If you want to make it work with something else, you have to go back to the original documentation, specifically the RBT-001 manual.

    hi
    thank you for the reply

If I use Parallax 433 MHz RF Transceiver Package for communication can it be easier than bluetooth?
In the manuals, it is writen that sending a pulse is sufficient in order to establish communication between transmitter and receiver pairs.
However I do not know whether the signals of 2 transmitter and receiver pairs will cause interference or not? Are they produced such a way that they can recognize their counterparts.
In the forums, I could not find any description about the connection between RS232 serial port of a PC and Receiver or Transmitter

    thanks
