Hello all,
A quick one this - i've forgotton how it works...!
My SX28 doesn't "boot" and start the code that i've programmed (ctrl-P) via the editor IDE.· It just sits there.· Currently its running on a SX tech board.· If I run it (ctrl-R) then it starts and the code runs OK.· No crystal is plugged in, just the sxkey.
The device settings are:
··· DEVICE ··SX28, OSC4MHZ, TURBO, STACKX, OPTIONX
··· FREQ ··4_000_000
I want to run it a 4mhz using the internal osc.· I don't need a crystal in it for this I assume?
Cheers,
james

I just re-edited this post because I didn't read James post more carefully.
Yes, the 4MHz clock is internal and should just run. Have you tried doing a program (ctrl-p) followed by a power off and power on of the board with the SX?
Thanks,

Yup tried that - no joy.
I'll try a new SX28 just in case

Works now. i guess the 4mhz osc wasn't fast enough.
Sorry about that - a bit of a dumb question after all!
