Reel Time Clock using Basic Stamp (updated: source code, pix)
Here's a video link to a Stamp-controlled clock I built. "Reel Time" clock tells the time in grammatical English sentences, using rolls of 35mm film to scroll the right·"phrases" into view. The movie is under 4 minutes long.

This was one of a series of clock-art projects I've been working on the past couple of years. It was exhibited at the Mina Dresden Gallery in San Francisco at the end of last year (and it's taken me this long to shoot and edit the video!)

- Lazertran (awesome product to transfer images onto anything)··

- Custom power supply
- Eight months of weekends and nights
