Tachometer?

· Fair novice here; I'm in need of a tachometer that can·read output shaft rotation·in the range of 0 to 800rpm via magnetic sensor, generating a digital readout. Have been looking for schematic to build one but haven't found anything more than vague descriptions. Anyone got more info?

    do you already have the magnetic sensor ?

    Try out the Melexis hall sencer. P#MLX90217.

    I use this in many projects; They work very well
