Help! Where's the tutorials?

Hi,

We are away, and I thought I could just download the propeller manual so that my son could work on the programming examples in the propeller manual. He was working out of the paper version. I downloaded WebPM1.1.pdf, but it doesn't have the programming tutorials that the paper manual does. Anybody know where I could download the tutorials that are in the paper book version?

I found it! It was taken out of webPM1.1, but it is in WebPM1.01.

Had the same problem here. I couldn't find them for a while, but I found they were moved to the Propeller IDE folder with the new release.

C:\Program Files\Parallax Inc\Propeller Tool v1.2.6\Examples\Help\Spin Tutorial

I wish I had the Propeller and Basic Stamp when my son was growing up 20 years ago.

Hi Folks,

The tutorials are now topics within the Help file. If you open the Help from within the Propeller Tool, choose "Spin Programming Tutorial" from the Table of Contents. There is a little Propeller Hat icon above each of the program listings shown in the Help; if you click on it, the program will open in a new tab of the Propeller tool.

By the way, we chose to remove Chapters 2 and 3 from the original Propeller Manual and move them to the Help in order to make more room in the book for language support, particularly in the assembly chapter, and so that the tutorial and the material about the Propeller Tool itself could be expanded more easily in the future.

Sorry it was difficult to find!
