I want to be able to embed an sd card inside a device and have a computer be able to upload large files quickly but I do not want it to look like a harddrive where users could manually mess with the files.

The prop is way to slow to act as gateway for 400mbps does anyone know of a module I can use for this or proficient enough that they could make one I could buy?

The new XMOS XS1-L1 will do high-speed (480 MB/s) in software, and only costs $7.50:

I'm working on a PCB for it. Your application would need a PHY chip, of course.

Do you or anyone else here have the experience to program it to emulate the standard 4 pin prop to serial connection and have it handle high speed communication with computer and simultanius slow speed with prop?

I would be willing to pay per chip license

Don't have time to learn the standards and new chip at moment.

    I'll look into it.

Why do you need a Propeller interface and the serial connection?

It might be best to discuss this further via email: leon355@btinternet.com.
