what happens when you shoot 2 lasers at the same spot?

lets just say that 2 lasers are·mount on a turret, one 5 mw laser cant burn a hole in a material, but a 7-10 mw laser will burn a hole. If i were to shine 2 5mw lasers at the same spot, would it burn a hole or do the lasers not combine. i know this doesnt sound good, but i dont know how else to put it...
