Hello All

I'm looking for a small hydraulic servo control valve. Low cost is more of what I'm after.

Voltage range somewhere between 5 and 25 volts DC.

Any Links or Ideas would be great.

What exactly is a hydraulic servo control valve? I know what a servo is and I know what a solenoid is, but you have me stumped with that request...

Some of the electric liftrucks that I used to work on had servo controlled hydraulic valves, they were pretty slick when they worked. the bad thing was they weren't cheap nor were they easy to fix. you might be better off trying to use a large rc servo to control the valve. Solenoid control spool valve would be cheaper but it would be hard to get the fine control of a servo.

Use to use hydraulic servo valves in EDM machinery on the machine tool end for controlling a hydraulic cylender.. They usually ran on + - voltages of around 6 volts. Plus voltage one direstion and minus volage other direction. They were very sensitive to dirt in the fluid and not cheap for sure ($600 new). Mabe you can find on Ebay. Alot of aircraft use too.

I worked on servohydraulic equipment for a while and am not aware of any cheap sh valves. In fact $400.00 each is far less than anything I have come across to date.

I have 2 Moog servo valves, model 974C, p/n M-6574. The were overhauled by Moog in 1964 and do not appear to have been used since. I have not been able to find any docs on these. If you can find docs and these would work for you I would let them go for a reasonable price.

    Thanks for the offer

But the Hyro rout is gust to expensive for this project.

I'm going with 24volt DC motors.
