Morpheus connectors - vote finished, "short" connectors default for Morpheus

The reason I ask is that so far I've only ordered long connectors, but I am thinking of placing a (large) order tonight for short connectors, and more long ones.
My current plans are to provide non-stacking connectors for the Morpheus board by default, and that the stacking expansion boards will come with the longer tailed (more expensive) stacking connectors.
I can of course offer the long stacking connectors for Morpheus as well, but I suspect that few people will want to stack expansion boards both below and above the Morpheus board. The only time this may make sense is if someone wants to use four Mem+ boards, and wants to put two above and two below Morpheus in order to keep memory boards "closer" to the Morpheus board, and with a 20MHz bus I really don't think this will make a large difference.
Connectors should be arriving in two-three weeks, at which time I will be offering connectors, full kits, the SchoolBoard, and even assembled and tested units. Pricing to be determined after I see what happens with brokerage and shipping; I don't know the shipping costs yet.
So what would you prefer for the kits (and assembled unit):
A) Short connectors on Morpheus, cannot stack boards underneath it
-or-
Long connectors on Morpheus, can stack both above and below Morpheus, somewhat more expensive
Note it would be moderately painful for you to later de-solder the connectors to switch them, especially if you did not want to destroy the connectors you are removing.

I personally would like A) short connectors on Morpheus. I agree with you and I don't think stacking all boards above vs. 2 under will make much difference either.

So is that an 'Abstain', 'Long', or 'Short' vote?

I've used a lot of PC/104 gear, with up to 4-5 boards. Its bus frequency is similar (8-10Mhz?), and I never had any problems, so I don't think you're really going to need to put memory boards underneath.
It'll be easier to run on a bench too as there won't be long pins protruding.

Thanks guys!
