Need some TV test patterns

Got a 72 inch projection TV off the local freecycle.
I just fixed the audio, now I need to re-align the projectors (RGB)

I'd like to use the Prop. Anyone got any recommended TV test patterns?

Thanks!!
OBC

If it handles VGA, Ntest (by Nokia) will give colours and some cross hatches

I used to have a Big Box that I could slide celephane into with a pattern like the Indian head, etc. that would generate a signal. Got rid of it 30 years ago. But, video editing software like Adobe Premiere, Ulead, I believe Vegas generates there own customized test patterns. Also, do a google search.

What you need is a crosshatch generator. Also, I think these programs can generate that too. I mean, to adjust the convergence. Sometimes, the TV prodjector or TV set has the pattern built in too. look closer. Maybe it will help.

    Good Luck!

Indian's head, that would be Ampex then. Videos you could fix with a set of spanners. Thats the level I started at, wish they were still about, not the bent tin chassis of today. As a bonus they had chips that could be salvaged.

Man, I just hate aligning convergence on old projectors! (we used rectangles) .... This should be very simple to make with Propeller. The hardest thing about the NTSC bars (other than never twice same color and getting over the unsolvable magenta/green gap problem) was tuning up the three shades of black. Good luck with all that OBC.

I just spotted this on the third party propeller products page.

    www.vgaok.com/
It uses some simple rectangles for a test image, shouldn't be too hard to mimic.
