Jameco Parallax Products?

I'm looking at a Jameco Electronics catalog I received this week (#293, August 2009), and on page 188 it lists several products I've never seen before as Parallax products. There's a Parallax Gyroscope module (a LISY300AL, $49.95), an SD Card Adapter, and CO2, LPG, and CH4 sensor modules (not just the $4.99 sensors, but $32.95 modules like the existing CO module). I don't remember seeing this 2-Axis Joystick at Parallax either.

Are these real Parallax products, or someone else's products mislabeled? Perhaps they're soon-to-be released, and Jameco is jumping the gun? Or are they "Parallax, exclusively available through Jameco"?

VERY interesting! I have caught talk about the Gyro but extensive Googling the forums brought up nothing. Not sure now where I saw it now. All the pictures look like they would be a Parallax style module. I like the joystick.

I would really like to see the Gyro come out and have good Parallax support so we don't have to go to Sparkfun for these. Parallax would have a good package now for complete 6DOF.

The sensor modules seem expensive compared to the sensors themselves, but it could be that will will be like the CO·module with some smarts built in.

I think Jameco had prior·knowledge and artwork, but jumped the gun on this on. The graphics art dept probably didn't know delivery dates.

If you go to the Jameco webite and pull up the products in question, they all show delivery date of 10/09/09, so I guess we have to wait about 3 months to get them.· Bummer........
