FRAM instead of EEPROM on Propeller

I got an e-mail today that pointed out Ramtron's latest EEPROM or rather EEPROM replacement offerings:
64K version: www.ramtron.com/files/datasheets/FM24CL64ds_r3.3.pdf
32K version: www.ramtron.com/files/datasheets/FM24CL32ds_r1.0.pdf
The FRAMs would make sense in applications where there is constant data logging or changing data. The 64K version appears to have been out for a while and I see various listings at on-line distributors. The price isn't cheap though for single quantities (~US$3.00) in single quantities.
Since this is designed as a drop in replacement, I suppose it might be worht it to try it out and see that it works OK. I have a data logging application where it would be nice to have the speed of FRAM.
Here is the news note from Elektor's web site: www.elektor.com/news/nonvolatile-ram-replaces-serial-eeprom.1008353.lynkx?utm_source=UK&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=news

When I'll do my first board I'd like to put 2 64kB FRAMs on it. With a simple switch I can select between 2 programs to be booted.
