Propeller Proto Board Data sheet error

I am looking at V1.2 (5/23/2008) of the Propeller Proto Board, Proto Board USB and accessory Pack data sheet. On page 3 is the Propeller Proto Board USB Schematic. In the schematic, in the USB section, there is a line missing from the emitter of the npn transistor to the GND symbol

Thanks Tim - I'll alert the product owner within Parallax to take a look at this problem.

Also on page 4, (Ver 1.2), Mechanical Drawing for the non USB Board, traces are not show for connections from the Prop central area pinouts to the adjacent pins. The connections are there on my proto boards, (with silksreen), but it might confuse first time buyers.

Only reason I saw this is because of the daily deal. I need to put together a few Protoboard Nanos (thanks Jeff (OBC)) and I just·enlarged and printed out a portion of the page.

I guess the PCB gods will do what they will with me when I take the boards to the bandsaw. Wish me luck. smile.gif

A few weeks ago, maybe months, there was a post that showed details of the layers of the Proto Board PCB layers. I think Jeff Martin posted images of the top and bottom copper so we could have a reference of the traces for our own layouts or for solving the blown PLL issue some users have had. Perhaps those images could make there way into the data sheet as well if you think they are useful.

    Ti,

Going to implement all the capacitor suggestions based on the overclocking posts to try a circumvent the PLL problem. I probably need to since I have 5 - 6.25MHz xtals on order. smile.gif

    (Love your 3" LCD's)

On topic..the Proto Board USB layout reflects what the Non-USB proto Board should be.
