Its the Telit GM862-GPS. We are using text messaging to communicate to the propellor chip.

OK so you just told us which gsm module

My personal opinion is YOU have to do SOME basic work on it on your own.
that means you take again a look at the website of telit and download the documenation of the GM862-GPS

you have 117 views on your thread and still no sufficient answers.

The reason is in your first post you are asking a very global question. An sufficient answer to all would take tenthousands of words
as we (the forum-member) do not know anything about you anything about your project and don't know anything about this gsm-module.
With microcontrollers it's NOT that easy like "which software can read this grafic-image-format ? post a name and then it's done.

If you ask concrete questions you will get answers very quickly. These questions can be simple as can be but they have to be concrete.
So feel free to ask whatever you like. Whenever the question demonstrated that YOU made SOME effort on your OWN you will get answers.

I did take a look on the telit-website and I found a lot of documentation there. Take a look there too and come back with a concrete question.

    best regards

    Stefan

Here is a good place to start:

This Page shows someone using an Arduino, but will give you the info you need to start connecting it to the propeller via a serial link.

On another note....didn't you already ask this question under a slightly different username?:

Please don't do that, just be patient.

    Rick
