Discrete X10 components

Does anyone know where I can get X10 components. I want to put them in a small space and don't want to have all of the module stuff taking up room. Easy to find all the parts that I neeed but it comes in comsumer packaging. Any ideas?

    Rip them apart and take what you need? Or you could Google for info on how it works and build your own. I'm sure I've seen the plans for monitoring the X10 signal.
