Have a Basic Stamp 2 I have down loaded tow or three programs on just playing around with it.· But now I can not get it to talk to my PC.· I'm not sure but I think a 12 wire came in contact with board, I did not so any sparks but now nothing happens.· So am I out $50 or is there away to fix it?· I tried useing a friends programing board he got from Parallax but it still would not work.· Any Ideas??

    You have probably knackered it. Parallax might replace the chip for you, if you ask them nicely.

    I sent them an email about it but no one as got back with me.· I was hopping that it just lost its Memory and could just down load something into it but I have not found any thing like that.

    The BS2 uses an OTP PIC and can't be reprogrammed. It can't lose its memory, anyway.
