Wires in the same position

In chapter 3 I built the Start/Reset indicator. In chapter 5 I did the "Field testing the whiskers." My question is can two jumper wires·occupy the same hole? I do not have sound now when I turn the bot on because I took the jumper wire out. It shows that a jumper wire has to go from VSS P1 to P5 next to the Piezospeaker for the "Field Testing the Whiskers".· I remember reading that you just keep adding to the board on each activity,except the LED's I had to change. I do not have sound now when I turn on the Boe-Bot and one LED stays lit. That I will figure out. Just confused about jumper wires occupying the same space. Please advise.
