I'd rather have a broken Demoboard than a working Arduino

Just for the fun of it, (and because my project is starting to irritate me)
I pull out the three "BAD" demoboards I found left on the freebie table @ UPEW
and starting looking into what could be repaired.
Naturally, the rest of you guys left the last three because they looked the worse. :)
Just got one up and running with everything except sound.
So, yes.. I'd rather have a broken Demoboard, than a working Arduino. :)
Anyone else get interesting stuff on the Freebie table this year?

It's a large sharing of parts from attendees. Parallax dropped a LOT of freebies at UPEW.

(*) The ACT373's are TSSOP-20, i.e. tiny little things.· Between Saturday night and Subday morning, someone at the UPEW thought it would be fun to dump the several hundred of them out of their tubes onto the table and mix them with several hundred SOIC-8 2K EEPROMs!· I just scooped up a couple handfuls of them into an antistat bag that was lying around.
