I like the xBee devices from Digi: www.digi.com/products/wireless/zigbee-mesh/xbee-zb-module.jsp

The -PRO versions have greater range. The xBee devices use a metric pin spacing that doesn't fit on breadboards and prototype boards, so I use adapters from either SparkFun (www.sparkfun.com/commerce/product_info.php?products_id=8276) or Selmaware (www.selmaware.com/appbee/index.htm - AppBee-SIP-LV).

Note that you cannot use any wireless link for programming the Propeller from a PC. The timing of the download is too tight for a wireless link to work. Controlling the propeller by sending data over the wireless link works fine. There also is a simple Basic interpreter that works over an xBee wireless link called BoeBotBasic which you can download from the Propeller Object Exchange. I use it on a BoeBot chassis as the robot controller with a Mac on the other end of the wireless link. The Mac (or PC) acts as a remote keyboard / display for the Basic and you can enter programs, run them, and supply data or look at debug output.

    Range? Data rate?
