Giveaway - Propeller USB Protoboard

The Parallax folks were kind enough to hand out USB protoboards to UPEW attendees. I already have a few, so I thought I'd give it to someone who'd put it to good use.

Since I only have 1 extra, I made a mini guessing game out of it, there are more details here.

Let me know if you have any questions!

HA! Leave it to propheads to find any ambiguity in the instructions. smile.gif

@coley - are you sure it's as easy as you think?

@Nick, yeah I'm sure I know what it is although there are some bits not pictured, I can tell you the red and black wire goes to a piezo buzzer. tongue.gif
It's been a long time since I used mine but my gut feeling was spot on lol

Nice idea btw, got me thinking of a few more to put forward for fun.....

Okay - I've got one more USB protoboard to give away. This one is much harder than the last - the post is up here

    Good Luck!

I was guessing that it was some type of old Video Game but since I didn't know I played a smart one and answered "a circut board and componants" smile.gif
I think that I guessed what it is. Hope you get my E-mail.

It's a DishNetwork(tm) Digital TV (QAM) to NTSC converter. My final answer :)

I don't believe so; but you shouldn't put your answer the forum, because he draws the winners name out of a group of correct guessers. :-0

Yeah - Mike actually identified it by brand (Pace). I never really thought about it, but do the DBS systems use QAM?

Don't know about broadcast, but I was getting free digital cable QAM from Comcast without subscribing before I switched to ATT Uverse (got tired of being the captive audience bombarded with Comcast's stupid commercials).
